Headquartered in São Paulo, Virtulos is an all­‐in­‐one solution for instant messaging, cloud file storage, and micro-payments. It’s designed for desktop and mobile devices on all major operating systems.

The brief was straightforward — create a mark that’s simple enough to work at favicon size, and unique enough to stand out from the competition.

My idea was equally straightforward — that customers could grow with Virtulos.

A customisation of the Knockout typeface is used for the main wordmark. Its solid structure gives a secure, reliable appearance, well suited to the micro-payment market. Additional customisation to the ‘v’ when shown in isolation keeps the symbol in line with the design idea.
